We live in the age of convenience and we want everything quick, fast, and in a hurry. This includes weight loss. The concern with fast weight loss is that it usually takes extraordinary efforts in diet and exercise, efforts that could be unhealthy and that we probably can't maintain as permanent lifestyle changes.

I get it. When we decide it's time to LOSE WEIGHT we want to move far, far, far away from our current weight as fast as possible.  So we go about trying to lose weight the WRONG way.
