I’m Jennifer Dent Brown — Certified Health + Life Coach.

Through the Stop Dieting Forever Program and the Stop Dieting Forever podcast I help women learn to stop dieting and start living. Living a LUXE Life has nothing to do with money and everything to do with a state of mind. Feeling hopeless and unable to control your weight will never get you to your goal. Learning to live with the mindset of a woman who is already at her goal weight is the key to lasting, permanent weight loss.

I built my coaching business while working part time as a Management Consultant for leadership development, training, and professional services in the “Big 8” accounting firms. I earned a Masters Degree in Instructional Systems Technology.

My first clients began losing weight, but were not seeing lasting results. So, I started diving deeper into understanding the power of habits, and that’s when I learned the connection between mind and body. Your mindset needs to change in order to keep the weight off. I worked with a Holistic Health Coach who had graduated from the Life Coach School, and she was the one who introduced me to this mind/body concept. I was so inspired that I ended up enrolling to be a Life Coach as well.

Credentials + Certifications

I left my corporate job in 2020, and on April 1st, I became a full time coach. I had been working towards this goal for a while, but taking the leap granted me big results.

That was my first six figure year as a coach which was amazing, intense and really gratifying. 

In 2021, I doubled income from the previous year. I created group programs and my clients were seeing results. At that point I became fully booked with 1:1 clients so I took one of my free challenges and created a 30 day bootcamp. I’ve now helped hundreds of women lose weight without dieting personally, and have reached thousands more through my podcast all over the globe.

And on a personal note: I’ve also been in your shoes.

I understand how it feels to struggle with keeping weight off.

My weight loss journey began when I went to college (during freshman year, I gained the infamous “Freshman 15”).

 

From the late nights, to the lack of nutritious food options, I was slowly putting on pounds. 

It wasn’t until I came home from school one summer for an internship and put on a suit that I noticed the weight I had gained. That same summer I joined Weight Watchers, lost seven pounds (enough to fit into my clothes) and then headed back to school where I dove right back into all my old habits and continued gaining weight.

In grad school I started using my treadmill and walking a lot, so I did lose some weight for a brief time. But then I got a job as a consultant and began traveling every week. All the meals were on the company dollar. I also didn’t realize I had ADHD, so there were a lot of challenges that came along while working in corporate America. Between the anxiety from work and eating out every meal, I continued gaining weight while simultaneously trying to lose the weight. I even brought my Beach Body DVDs everywhere with me! I didn’t understand the root cause of what was causing the weight gain, I was just on a path of trying to find the next bandaid to fix my problems.  

Finally, I found a Health Coach that changed everything for me.

It was in her six week course that I was first introduced to the mind-body connection when it comes to dieting. As I started losing a bit of weight, I enrolled myself in IIN. I never imagined it would be a full-time thing. I began slowly coaching others as I continued working on myself and fell in love with the process of coaching and helping people. In 2019 I fell back into old patterns of emotional eating and gaining weight. I was balancing a corporate job, building my coaching business on the side, and was also enrolled in a money mastermind to help me get to the next level. The stress of this year sent me back into that spiral of emotional eating. This was my turning point. I learned how to lose weight again by understanding my emotions from growing a business and working. This setback helped me level up and there has been no turning back since then. And now I am here to help you lose weight forever, too.
