Break the BLT habit
Little quits.
😧The bites of food you throw in your mouth when you're cooking dinner.
😧The handful of nuts you munch on while waiting for your coffee to brew.
😧The last chicken finger on your kid's plate.
😧The extra bite of dinner as you're putting the food away.
😧The last remaining forkfuls of food on your plate as you're waiting for your dinner mate to finish eating.
These are all little quits.
The little Bites, Licks, and Tastes (BLTs) that you consume every day.
Jennifer, over time, those BLTs add up to excess weight.
Every time you indulge in a BLT, you are little quitting on yourself.
The urge to bite, lick, or taste can be sneaky. You may not even realize what's happening.
This is because your brain is on autopilot. You don't even consciously think about what you're doing.
You just know that you're doing it:
🍪 Bite
🍬 Lick
🍟 Taste
Once you become aware of what you're doing, you can decide to stop.
The first few times you resist the urge to BLT, it may feel uncomfortable.
But the more times you resist, the less powerful the urge is to BLT.
Eventually, you will stop doing it.
Breaking the BLT habit will result in weight loss!
THIS WEEK
