Twenty Tips to Creating a Healthier Lifestyle
Are you ready to lose weight without dieting so you can live your healthiest life?
Today, I have 20 tips for you to implement so you can do just that.
Stop looking at your past weight loss failures as evidence of what you will lose in the future.
Believe it's possible for you to lose weight AND keep it off (use evidence from current LUXE Lifers that it IS possible).
Before you caffeinate, drink 16 oz. of water every day.
Understand the difference between physical hunger and emotional hunger (listen to this podcast to learn how to do that)
Stop snacking in between meals. If you're physically hungry (see #4), eat your next meal.
Stop eating when you're satisfied.
Feel your feelings and stop eating your feelings.
Just because you paid for the food you're eating doesn't mean you have to keep eating it when you're full – save some for later.
Get 7 or more hours a night of quality sleep.
Take more walks.
Add electrolytes to your water (this is the brand I'm currently loving).
Laugh a little more.
Crowd out fake food with real food (listen to this podcast to learn how to do that).
Schedule and commit to all of your well-being visits (annual check-ups/screenings).
Become intimately familiar with all of your SSSTs (Sneaky Self-Sabotaging Thoughts).
Create your Success Squad of mentors, coaches, and friends who can support you on your journey.
Consume less news.
Develop the skill of self-coaching to support your mental health.
Move more.
Prioritize yourself by saying NO more often.
