While we all know that healthy eating, regular exercise, quality sleep, and ample water intake can all help us shed unwanted pounds. These are all actions. Not everyone has the internal motivation and discipline needed to adopt new habits and maintain them over time. That's why if we don’t know where we are going and how we expect to feel and think once we reach the destination, we won’t know how to enjoy and maintain it.


For this reason, so many of us lose weight and gain it back because we haven't spent any time thinking about our life at that goal weight. Our entire focus is on achieving that goal weight - the coveted number, but we don't think about how we want to experience our life at that weight. Seeing yourself as you WANT to be now instead of waiting until you reach your goal to see what happens is extremely important. This is why creating a vision for yourself is step #1 in my process.
