Anxiety can cause a loss of appetite or an increase in appetite. Today we will take a look at using food to cope with anxiety. For many people, it is the most frequently cited reason among a list of emotions that trigger overeating. Often without realizing it, we fall into a habit of eating when we feel worried, anxious, nervous, or stressed. This is 100% normal. However, understanding what is causing you to experience anxiety is the first step to learning how to stop eating to soothe the uncomfortable feeling.
