Who hasn't heard the "weight loss is 80 percent diet, 20 percent exercise" stat? Usually, when a person embarks on their weight loss journey they tend to exercise more in order to get the scale moving in the right direction. It's hard to ignore the fact that when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off, diet and exercise have two totally different roles. But the question remains, do you have to exercise to lose weight?
